About Mike Spiller

Mike is a registered psychologist based in Toowong and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. With nearly two decades of experience, he brings warmth, empathy, and deep clinical understanding to his work with clients.
Mike takes a trauma-informed and integrative approach to therapy, tailoring sessions to each person’s unique experiences and goals. He is trained in a range of evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing.
Across his career, Mike has supported people through work in mental health, community, and specialist services, helping individuals navigate challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. His work is guided by a simple belief — that with the right support, every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change.
